Here at Saint Francis Hospice, we aim to deliver the best possible experience of end of life and ensure that each death in our care is supported with all that we have to offer.
The EDI and Wellbeing Coordinator will play an important role in supporting the Hospice to become a truly inclusive organisation. We believe that developing our wellbeing and EDI approach will support the Hospice values and help us to deliver the best possible care and reach everyone in the communities we serve.
The postholder will establish effective communication and information sharing regarding Hospice EDI and wellbeing activity and will gather input from stakeholders to inform their approach.
The role will assist the Senior People and Culture Partner with the general administration and project coordination of the EDI and wellbeing action plans for the workforce (employee and volunteers) and assist where needed with EDI initiatives for external services and customers.
It is important for people in our care, families and carers to know that as a Hospice we are constantly striving to improve the care we deliver, whilst looking at our practice openly and continuing to learn and develop our knowledge and skills.
