Feeling down on Blue Monday? Here's how we can help
Feeling down in the dumps at this time of year? We might be able to help. Our teams run a number of services for patients, loved ones, carers, as well as support for anyone locally what has been bereaved, or feeling isolated and alone. Read below to find out more.
1. Counselling for patients
For people facing an uncertain future, often people find comfort in talking to someone who understands what you are going through. Some things can be hard to share with family and loved ones, possibly through fear of upsetting them or being uncertain of your own reactions.
Our team are on hand to help you explore and express your emotions, and find peace and solace in your situation.
2. Counselling for loved ones and carers
4. Walk on group
On the first Wednesday of every month, our staff and volunteers join together with patients, families, people whose loved ones have died in our care and walk around the beautiful local area.
It takes place on the first Wednesday of every month. Meet at 9.45am on The Green at Havering-atte-Bower. Our walk will start at 10.00am.
To speak to someone about this, and find out more, call the Family Support team on 01708 753319.
5. Tea and Talk
