Bungee Jump at Battersea Park
Experience the ultimate thrill and take the plunge this summer to raise money for the people in our care.
Join us at Battersea Park on Sunday 20th July 2025 and cross bungee jumping off your bucket list. Conquer your fears and make memories that will last a lifetime, while making a real difference the the lives of local people who need end of life and palliative care.
Registration for the event is £35 and by signing up you pledge to raise a minimum of £250. Photos, videos and merchandise (including t-shirts & hoodies) can be purchased on the day of your jump.

As you stand at the top of the 160ft crane, ready to take the leap, you'll be captivated by the awe-inspiring views of the River Thames and the iconic London skyline. You can also immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Battersea Park, where expansive grounds and lush greenery create a serene and picturesque setting for your bungee jump.

By raising £250, you'll be helping people like Ria. Ria was just 25 when she died in the care of our Hospice at Home team. Her sister, Kaz, says "The Hospice was pivotal in enabling Ria to be cared for at home. It was what Ria wanted and it was what we wanted for her."

How much does it cost to take part?
A £35 non-refundable registration fee is due when booking this event.
What is the sponsorship target?
By signing up to take part you pledge to raise a minimum of £250 per person.
Can I take part if I have a health condition?
Before jumping, you’ll be asked to sign a waiver. If any of the following applies, you must seek professional medical advice before jumping and sign a non-standard waiver:
- Aged 50 years or above
- High blood pressure
- Heart condition
- Suffer from dizziness or epilepsy
- Damage to neck, back, spinal column, legs or eyes
- Asthma
- Medication ??" if you are taking any form of prescribed medication, please inform us of how this may affect you
You cannot jump if you are pregnant or are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Is there an age limit to take part?
To take part in this event, you must be aged 14 or above. Those aged 14 ??" 16 will require a parent or guardians permission and signature. Participants over the age of 50 must seek professional medical advice before jumping and sign a non-standard waiver.
Are there any weight restrictions?
Maximum weight limit for a solo jumper is 120kg (18.9 stone). Waist harnesses fit waist size of 40cm (15.7 inches) to 125cm (49.2 inches).
Is bungee jumping a weather dependent activity?
Bungee jumping is a weather dependant activity and there is always the possibility that we may not be able to fly on the date booked (due to factors such as high wind, rain or low cloud). If the scheduled Wing Walk is cancelled, we will contact you in advance to organise an alternative date.
What should I wear?
Clothing - Please dress according to the weather. Dress in comfortable, casual clothes. Dresses and skirts are not recommended.
Footwear - Please refrain from wearing boots or anything that may interfere with ankle harnesses otherwise they will have to be removed prior to jumping. Trainers and securely fastened shoes are fine.
Glasses / Contact lenses - Unfortunately glasses and hard contact lenses cannot be worn however soft contact lenses for jumping are allowed

Saint Francis Hospice will support you every step of the way on your fundraising journey. We recommend getting your fundraising started right away by setting up your JustGiving page. Then share your page with your friends and family and watch the donations start rolling in!
To boost your fundraising further, we can provide you with lots of other materials such as hampers to raffle off, quiz packs to enable you to hold your very own quiz and collection tins and buckets for your workplace.
