We have an exciting opportunity to join us as the Assistant Store Manager of our new concept Loughton Boutique. As the Assistant Store Manager your primary responsibility is to maximise income generation and ensure all targets are met and exceeded leading a team of staff and volunteers.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Retail Store Manager to understand the requirements to ensure a successful operation
- Support with the maintenance and health & safety of the shop.
- Assisting with the smooth running of the store in accordance with company guidelines Deliver annual store financial and contribution targets.
- Deliver against store KPI's.
- Support the development of a new store team to the charity and town.
- Visual merchandising the store, maximising all opportunities.
- Driving new business into the store and liaising with the local community
- Deputising for the Retail Store Manager in their absence
Experience required:
- Previous Managerial experience within charity or retail.
- Have the ability to engage customers through outstanding communication, customer service, questioning and listening skills.
- KPI aware and driven by data to make commercial decisions.
- Experience of working to targets in a customer focused environment.
- Energy, drive and a positive can-do attitude.
- Flexible to cover store opening hours and weekends.
- An understanding of charity retail would be a distinct advantage and a passion for the charity sector.
