We're excited to be opening our new boutique-style shop in Loughton.

Our patron, Sir Trevor Brooking, the former England and West Ham legend, will be there to formally open the shop in 239 High Road, Loughton, on Friday 31st May.

"This is a very exciting project,” said Paul Newell, Head of Retail at Saint Francis Hospice.

“This is the first of our newly designed shops and it will look and feel like a boutique.

Sir

“There will be high quality pre-loved clothing, accessories, homeware, toys and linen for sale, along with well-priced new products and a lot of designer brands.

“So, while customers are shopping sustainably and picking up a bargain, their donations will help raise vital funds to help local people who need the hospice’s palliative and end-of-life care.”

This is our first shop in Loughton

This will be our 15th store in our catchment area which cares for people living in Havering, Brentwood, Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham and West Essex.

"After the success of our store in Wanstead, we are delighted to be opening a shop in Loughton for the first time,” said Paul.

“There is a real sense of community in Loughton and we will be part of that.

“The hospice provides care and support to people in West Essex and we know so many residents in Loughton know about the hospice and have had loved ones and friends who have accessed the charity’s services.”

We need donations and volunteers!

The shop is grateful for any donations of new and pre-loved goods and supporters are welcome to drive to the back of the shop and drop off donations.

If you have a few hours to spare and would like to give the gift of your time, there are lots of volunteering opportunities available in the new shop.
