Employment support for patients and carers

Everyday, 600 people leave their jobs to care for a loved one. We know how difficult juggling end of life care, and a job, as well as other responsibilities, like childcare, can be. Our Social Workers have put together a list of resources for carers about the support available to people in this position.
Support groups for carers
A problem shared is a problem halved. Here are a list of support groups available to anyone who is a carer to meet with other people like them, as well as getting expert advice and support.

Information and advice can be obtained from Havering Carers Hub. They run various groups for carers in Havering and Barking & Dagenham.
