"Art therapy helped me think of Nan but in a happy way"

Sophia was just 9 years old when she lost her beloved Nan, who she was very close to. Our family therapist, Emily, helped Sophia to work through her emotions while her Nan was alive, and after she passed away, with art therapy.

Sophia said, "Emily has helped me a lot.

"Nan loved to paint and when I did art therapy it made me think of my Nan in a happy way.

"I made a memory box and it means a lot to me because it has photos of my Nan on it.

"It's also very bright and she loved bright colours and rainbows and it has photos of members of the family who she was close to and pictures of us together."

A donation of £10 could pay for art materials and help another bereaved child like Sophia.
