Sharing your story will help other people like you
We rely on people like you, sharing your experiences of the Hospice, whether that is of our services, fundraising, volunteering, (or something else!) to help spread the word about the work that we do and how other people can get involved or benefit from our care.
Sharing your story could help us promote the Hospice on our website, social media, in the press, and elsewhere to other people who may need our services, or be able to support us, in the future. Even if you just wanted to write a short message about your experience, a short quote would be really valuable to us.
If you would like to share your story, please complete the form and we will be in touch.
"Sharing my story has been powerful"
Leonore’s sister Wendy was a patient at the ward who died in December 2019. Leonore agreed to share her story.
She said, “Being able to sit and tell my story and Wendy’s story has been powerful; it's been like therapy for me.
“I’ve been looking forward to it because Wendy is my favourite subject to talk about. It's wonderful to know her memory will continue to be shared.
“Thank you so much to Anita who made me feel so comfortable and for empowering me to share my experience. I don't think I could have done it without her support.”
