OrangeLine Team Member

Do you have good listening skills you can offer to help people needing support, who are feeling isolated, lonely and/or bereaved? Our OrangeLine team provides valuable emotional support and guidance to our local community. 

Volunteer Driver

Would you like to help our community patients? Our Therapies Team is looking for volunteer drivers to help transporting patients and equipment between their homes and the hospice.

Ward Volunteer

Our Ward Volunteers assist our nurses and housekeeping staff in the looking after of our inpatients.  The role is non-clinical, with practical tasks. Whether you can help on a regular basis or occasionally, we would love to hear from you.

Survey Support Volunteer

We're looking for people to encourage hospice visitors to complete a digital survey, giving us anonymous feedback about their experience of our services and support received. If you enjoy IT and have good communication skills, along with a personality that visitors will warm to, please contact us.

Domestic Helper

Assist the domestic service with cleaning, laundry, service-user meal and beverage services, which may be separate to, or in conjunction with, the meals and beverage service the Ward volunteers assist with. 

Young Adult Group Assistant

To attend the monthly Young Adult Group and to assist the group lead with activities within the group such as colouring, computer games, painting, listening and talking to attendees and their carers.

Administration Assistant

This role provides valuable administrative support to our busy teams across the Hospice. The role is available across a range of clinical and non-clinical services including support services such as People and Culture and Voluntary Services.

Complementary Therapy Volunteer

Edit FieldThe volunteer will provide clinical complementary therapies, covered by the hospice policy, to patients and carers referred to the service, alongside the other palliative care complementary therapists within the hospice.

General Group Helper

To provide practical assistance and support to the Pemberton Place team in the care of patients, carers and visitors attending Pemberton Place; to other hospice departments using the facilities within Pemberton Place.
